BALI – IJEN – BROMO
(2 Nights/ 3 Days)

Day 01 (Bali – Catimor/ Arabica)
Pick up from your hotel in Bali (Kuta, Sanur, Nusa Dua, Ubud) and take a 4 hour trip to the western tip of Bali island for a ferry trip to Java. On the way stop at some points considered worthwile to have a short rest and take some photograps. Lunch is served at a local restaurant. For your convinience don’t hesitate to ask the driver in case of necessity. When arriving on the port of Gilimanuk  have a one hour ferry transfer to the port of Ketapang and then continue the trip to Catimor or Arabica homestay for check in. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a rare experience of fresh and cool mountain atmosphere at the foot of mt Ijen. You will also witness distinctive life of the villagers living around the hotel. Dinner is served at the hotel.

Day 02 (Ijen – Bromo)
At 05 am a hotel staff wake you up. After breakfast we leave the hotel to reach Paltuding (the starting point). A guide will accompany you  to  climb the top. It takes about 1,5 hours to reach the top. Along the way you can stop at resting areas while enjoying the amazing views from the slope of the mountain. You will come across some men carrying unbelievably heavy loads of yellow solid sulfur they take from the crater through tremendous work. Upon arrival at the top you will be stunned at the spectacular views of this hidden magnetic treasure. Trekking down the lake and sulfur mine is highly not recommended. though visitors are tempted to do it. After finishing exploring the crater with some pictures for a memory you descend back to the starting point. From here we continue another trip to BROMO which takes about 3 hours. On the way stop at a local restaurant in Bondowoso for lunch. Early evening we arrive at Bromo area and check in at hotel Lava view (or another recommended hotel available). Dinner is served at the hotel’s restaurant. Afterwards, take a rest for next day’s tour.

Day 03 (Bromo Tour – Bromo Hotel – Bali)
Wake up call at 04 am. On a 4WD jeep, start a morning tour to Mount Penanjakan.  This is the best point where we will enjoy a spectacular view of Bromo sunrise along with a backdrop of a smouldering crater of Mount Semeru. Set your camera and take the best angle for the best picture. After the sunset trip, get on the jeep and continue the tour to Bromo crater. Descend along a deep road down to the sand sea and leads to the foot of Bromo crater. Park the jeep around the Hindu temple, then walk or get on a horse that takes you to the slope of the crater. The tour to the top is continued by walking up some steps to the top. After exploring the top, go down then  walk or get on the horse that takes you to the vehicle  for a return trip to hotel . After breakfast and packing your belonging, leave the hotel for a return trip to Bali or Surabaya. End of the trip.
